Abstract
There is tooth avulsion when complete tooth removal from its seat is associated with harm to periodontal ligament, alveolar bone and pulpal tissue. In permanent dentition, emergency treatment is often reimplantation. The prognosis depends essentially on how long the tooth has remained disembedded, the desmodontal cells have survived together with the characteristics of the medium where the expulsed tooth has been kept, and the contention type and duration must be taken in.
