Abstract
Use of autologous platelet concentrates in the management of traumatic emergencies of immature permanent teeth

There is tooth avulsion when complete tooth removal from its seat is associated with harm to periodontal ligament, alveolar bone and pulpal tissue. In permanent dentition, emergency treatment is often reimplantation. The prognosis depends essentially on how long the tooth has remained disembedded, the desmodontal cells have survived together with the characteristics of the medium where the expulsed tooth has been kept, and the contention type and duration must be taken in. Root canal revascularization using Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)-type blood products is a relatively new technique that represents a regenerative procedure for the treatment of open apex permanent teeth after post-traumatic reimplantation. This article is about the handling of an avulsed maxillary permanent incisor replanted six hours after its avulsion using an innovative regenerative technique.
