Résumé

Les auteurs présentent un cas d'un volumineux kyste intra-sinusien associé d'une prémolaire supérieure incluse à localisation sous-orbitaire. L'accent est mis sur la rareté de cette ectopie, sur le diagnostic différentiel radio-clinique et sur l'association possible entre la tumeur odontogène adénomatoïde et le kyste folliculaire. Un examen tomodensitométrique a montré une large image kystique intra-sinusienne droite en dessous d'une dent en position sous-orbitaire. C'est l'examen histo-pathologique qui a conclu à une tumeur odontogène adénomatoïde alias adéno-améloblastome. Une énucléation complète du kyste et l'extraction de la dent ont été réalisées et les suites ont été simples.

Abstract

One case of a voluminous cyst developed into the maxillary sinus associated with an infra-orbital location of embedded upper premolar is reported. The authors point out this rare location of an embedded upper premolar, the radio-clinic differential diagnosis and the possible association between the adenomatoïd odontogenic tumour and the dentigerous cyst. A CT - Scan examination showed a large maxillary radiolucent image under a tooth in infra-orbital localization. Histological examination revealed the lesion to be adenomatoïd odontogenic tumour. Complete enucleation of the cyst and extraction of the tooth were performed by oral way with success.
