Résumé

Les affections opportunistes du VIH/SIDA surviennent tout le long de l’épisode de l’infection et dépendent de l’état immunitaire de l’individu, de l’existence ou non d’un traitement anti-rétroviral, mais aussi d’un traitement spécialisé.
Les manifestations bucco-faciales sont relativement fréquentes. Elles sont dominées par les candidoses buccales, les adénopathies, les gingivo-stomatites banales et les polycaries dans notre contexte.
Certains auteurs ont proposé une classification qui permet de rendre aisés leur étude et leur traitement. Des affections comme l’herpès, le zona sont habituellement rencontrées au cours de la phase symptomatique, non SIDA, tandis que d’autres comme la maladie de Kaposi sont spécifiques au SIDA maladie. La disponibilité d’un traitement anti-rétroviral et un traitement spécialisé renforce l’efficacité de la prise en charge et améliore le pronostic.

Abstract

The opportinistics complaints of the AIDS occur all along the episode of the infection and depend on the individual’s body immunity and on the existence or no of an anti-retroviral treatment.
The buccal appearances on the face are relatively frequent.
They are dominated by the buccal mycosis, the lymphatic ganglion’s complaints, the inflammation of gums and buccal mucous, and the tooth decay in our context.
Some authors suggest a classification that can make easy their study and treatment.
Complaints like the herpes simplex infection, the herpes zoster infection, are usually found during the symptomatic stage non AIDS, whereas others like KAPOSI’s disease are typical to AIDS disease.
The availability of an anti-retroviral treatment and a specialized one strengthen the efficiency of the reimbursement and improve the prognosis.
