Résumé

L’objectif de ce travail est la détermination de la prévalence de l’anémie chez les patients consultant un cabinet dentaire. Notre échantillon est composé de 168 patients venant tous du cabinet dentaire de l’INSP d’Adjamé (Abidjan), âgés de 3 ans au moins et dont le statut hématologique est inconnu. Ces personnes ont d’abord rempli une fiche de renseignements administratifs. Puis, elles ont été examinées aux plan buccal puis hématologique à la recherche respectivement d’anomalies et ou de pathologies bucco-dentaires et d’anémies
L’anémie prévaut chez nos patients à raison de 33 % avec un taux important de femme (95 %) et d’élèves (48 %).

Abstract

The aim of this study is the assessment of anaemia importance in patients consulting the dentist.
168 patients, all kind, of the dental office of the National Institute of Public Health of Abidjan, from 3 years ago, whom haematological statute is unknown are selected. Each person, after filling out a survey paper, is submitted to dental and haematological investigations. As result, 33 % of our patients have anaemia. 95 % of them are women. Pupils represent 48 % of the anaemic.
