Résumé

L’antibiothérapie en parodontologie s’oriente maintenant vers l’association de 2 ou 3 antibiotiques, pour pouvoir éradiquer efficacement, les bactéries anaérobies strictes qui composent la flore associée aux parodontites. Cette étude a pour objectif de comparer l’efficacité de l’association amoxicilline plus acide clavulanique et l’association amoxicilline plus métronidazole chez 20 sujets atteints de parodontites à progression rapide, à partir des paramètres cliniques. Les résultats indiquent que les 2 formes d’associations sont efficaces dans le traitement des P.P.R. avec une action identique sur les paramètres cliniques.

Abstract

To get rid efficiently of anaerobics bacteria, which constituted the flora associated to periodontitis, the periodontal therapy is now moving towards 2 or 3 antibiotics association. The aim of this study is to make a comparison between the efficacy of the association of amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid and that of amoxicillin plus metronidazole into 20 patients suffering from rapidly progressive periodontitis. The results have shown that both forms of antibiotics association are efficacious in rapidly progressive periodontitis treatment, with the same action on clinical parameters.
