Résumé

Le but de cette étude est d‘analyser, à l’aide de superpositions céphalométriques structurales, la quantité de dérive molaire dans les cas d’ancrage maximum avec principalement extractions des quatre premières prémolaires. L’ancrage molaire est apprécié chez des patients traités avec ou sans utilisation de forces directionnelles. L’influence de certains paramètres : l’âge, la divergence faciale, l’encombrement et le repositionnement incisif, sur la perte d’ancrage a été également évaluée. L’étude statistique a fait appel au test de Student pour groupes indépendants. Une valeur du risque de première espèce p<0.05 a été considérée comme significative. La perte d’ancrage semble moins importante avec l’utilisation des forces directionnelles. Par contre elle est majorée chez les adolescents et les cas de repositionnement incisif important.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to analyze using structural cephalometric superimpositions the quantity of mesial molar drift in the maximum anchorage cases, with mainly extractions of the first four premolars. Molar anchorage is appreciated in cases treated with or without use of directional forces. The influence of various parameters: age, facial divergence, discrepancy and incisor repositioning, on the loss of anchorage is also evaluated. The statistical study called upon the test of Student for independent groups. A value of the risk of first species p<0.05 was considered as significant. The loss of anchorage seems less important with the use of the directional forces. On the other hand it is raised in teenagers and the cases of important incisor repositioning.
