Résumé

Dans le but de décrire le profil épidémiologique et histologique des cancers du tube digestif, nous avons colligé au cours d’une étude rétrospective d’une durée de 5 ans et 7 mois, 123 cas de cancers du tube digestif, dont le diagnostic a été confirmé à l’histologie. Cette étude a été réalisée dans le service de gastroentérologie et médecine interne du CHU de Brazzaville. Il s’est agi de 70 hommes et 53 femmes. Le sex-ratio (H/F) a été de 1,3. L’âge moyen des patients, a été de 55 ans avec des extrêmes allant de 19 à 85 ans. La consommation d’alcool a été avouée par 104 patients. Vingt-trois patients ont affirmé consommer du tabac. Les segments du tube digestif atteints ont été par ordre de fréquence l’estomac (n = 54), la localisation colorectale (n = 50), l’œsophage (n = 10), le duodénum (n = 5) et l’anus (n = 4).
Le cancer du tube digestif est en nette augmentation, probablement en raison de la modification du régime alimentaire et de la réalisation de l’endoscopie.

Epidemiology of the cancers of the digestive tube to it fallen from Brazzaville

In the goal to describe the epidemiological and histological profile of the cancers of the digestive tube, we collected during a retrospective survey of a length of 5 years and 7 months, 123 cases of cancers of the digestive tube whose diagnosis has been confirmed to the histology. This survey has been achieved in the service of gastroenterology and internal medicine of UTH of Brazzaville. It was about 70 men and 53 women. The sex-ratio (H/F) was of 1,3. The middle age of the patients was of 55 years with extremes going from 19 to 85 years. The consumption of alcohol has been confessed by 104 patients. Twenty three patients affirmed to take tobacco. The segments of the digestive tube reached were by order of frequency the stomach (n = 54), the colorectal localization (n = 50), the oesophagus (n = 10), the duodenum (n = 5) and the anus (n = 4).
The cancer of the digestive tube is probably in strong increase because of the modification of the diet and the realization of the endoscopy.
