Résumé

Objectifs : Apprécier l’efficacité et la tolérance du Dakin Cooper^® stabilisé dans les soins locaux de la candidose buccale de l’enfant.
Méthodologie : Il s’agit d’une étude multicentrique, prospective, descriptive et non comparative portant sur des enfants vus en consultation du 1er mars 2010 au 28 février 2011 dans le service de dermatologie du CHU de Treichville. Cent patients ont été recensés. Tous ont reçu le Dakin Cooper^® stabilisé comme antiseptique en bain de bouche.
Résultats : La moyenne d’âge était de 2,8 ans, le sex-ratio est de 1,6 en faveur des hommes, la durée moyenne du traitement était de 10 jours, la quasi-totalité des patients était guérie au bout de 15 jours, quel que soit le traitement associé et la tolérance était bonne chez tous nos patients.
Conclusion : De par son efficacité Dakin Cooper^® stabilisé est un antiseptique de choix pour le traitement de la candidose buccale et présente une tolérance excellente.

Summary

Objectives: Appreciate the efficiency and the tolerance of Dakin Cooper^® stabilized in the local care of oral mycosis of the child.
Methodology: This is a multipoint, prospective, descriptive and not comparative study, involving children seen in consultation from March 1st, 2010 till February 28th, 2011 in the dermatology department of the of Treichville’s university hospital. 100 patients were recruited. All received Dakin Cooper^® stabilized as antiseptic in mouthwash.
Results: The average age was of 2.8 years, the sex-ratio is 1.6 for the men, the average duration of the treatment was 10 days, the quasi-totality of the patients were cured at the end of 15 days whatever is the associated treatment and the tolerance was good for all patients.
Conclusion: The efficiency of Dakin Cooper^® stabilized made it a choice antiseptic for the treatment of the oral mycosis and presents an excellent tolerance.
