Introduction : Les soins des foyers septiques font recours à la chirurgie et à un antiseptique de choix. Les auteurs rapportent leur expérience de l’utilisation du Dakin Cooper® stabilisé comme antiseptique dans les soins locaux des cellulites cervico-faciales.
Patients et méthode : Il s’agit d’une étude prospective et descriptive réalisée dans le service de stomatologie et chirurgie maxillo-faciale du CHU de Treichville. L’étude a porté sur 430 patients présentant une cellulite cervico-faciale. Les soins locaux biquotidiens ont été faits avec du Dakin Cooper® stabilisé.
Résultats : Un tarissement de la suppuration et une détersion des plaies ont été observés chez tous les patients. Une bonne tolérance avait été observée. Aucune réaction allergique n’avait été signalée.
Conclusion : L’utilisation du Dakin Cooper® stabilisé dans les soins locaux des cellulites cervico-faciales a prouvé son efficacité ainsi que sa bonne tolérance.
Introduction: Cares of septic’s hearth required surgery and antiseptic of choice. The authors reported their experience of the use of Dakin Cooper® stabilized used as local antiseptic in face and neck cellulitis.
Patients and methods: This is a prospective descriptive study realized in the maxillo-facial surgery and stomatology department of the Treichville’s university hospital. The study concerned 430 patients presenting face and neck cellulitis. The twice-daily local cares were made with Dakin Cooper® stabilized.
Results: The end of suppuration and cleaning of the wounds was observed for all patients. A good tolerance and a better efficiency of Dakin Cooper® stabilized were observed.
Conclusion: The use of Dakin Cooper® stabilized in the local care of face and neck cellulitis showed its efficiency and good tolerance.
